Kristi Noem and many other Republicans are telling Texas to defy the Supreme Court on the southern border barb wire.
Of course Kristi Noem does not even know history:
TX wasn’t even a state until 1845, well after the constitution of the United States was created, yet Kristi says Texas was involved in the creation of the U.S. constitution. What?!?!
Noem claimed that Texas, alongside the original 13 colonies, would never have signed a treaty forming the “first constitution” of the United States if they weren’t assured of their right to self-defense and protection of their people. This statement seems to conflate historical timelines and facts, as Texas was not a part of the original states that signed the Articles of Confederation in 1777, the precursor to the U.S. Constitution.
These are the people that are trying to dictate to the entire country how we should be governed. People that do not even know the history.
Kind of reminds me of Trump claiming the civil war and airplanes and airports, or some nonsense like that.
